Saturday Traffic

Our worst traffic issue here is getting around the Amish buggies going to town on Saturdays. I just honk and wave, they're all my buddies

I don't remember the name of the small town in PA [Rt 15] but up ahead one person rearended another closing both lanes of traffic so there I sat as black buggies ziped around me on the right on a nice broad shoulder which I assume was built just for them. I have never seen better horses or rigs!

They do have the best of the best don't they! And they build it all themselves. I went out last week to visit one of my favorite families, and their 16 year old girl, was repairing one of the buggy wheels, it was pretty interesting to watch. I assumed that would be one of the "Men's jobs" but she sure was working it over

Quite truthfully, I feel sorry for some of the Amish horses I see. Not everyone cares for them as well as they should. But then again, you could say the same thing for any animal.
