Link won't open for me either.... :(
We had to look into getting renters insurance, long story, and since we had to do that research my other half researched the costs from all of the insurance companies that we could think of to see if adding renters to our existing policy was the best choice, or if we could do better somewhere else. Right now All State is beating everybody, we'll save $80.00 per month on our car insurance, and the cost of the renters insurance would be paid for out of 2 months of the savings from the car insurance.
Seems to me that it would be a good idea to go through once every year or two years and canvas the market just to see if there is a better deal somewhere else. $80.00/month adds up!!! (now if I can just manage to get that $80/mo into savings and we'll be doing much better!!!!)

Oh, absolutely!! We saved over $400 a year one time by changing our house/auto insurance to someone else. For younger people here, it's a good idea to check w/ different companies for your life insurance, too. I read somewhere that everyone should check all their insurance policies and compare with other companies every two years.
