Watch this video from Australia.....baby rolls under a train.

NOT HURT....bump on the head and survived but holy cow it is just unbelievable to watch!

That poor mother, I couldn't imagine her anguish.
Amazing that the child survived, isn't it?

I'm glad I wasn't there. It was a great learning video. Make people with strollers a little more aware. Can you imagine what it was like being the mother and waiting to see what happened to the baby? I'm sure the baby was screaming. Visions of dismembered babies. That is scary

I can't watch the video due to dial-up, but your comments so far make me think it is NOT the other story I heard on BBC:

A very pregnant woman used the train bathroom, gave birth on the toilet, and the baby fell through to the tracks. The panicked brand-new mother raced out of the bathroom, to the nearest door and jumped off the train, much to the horror of her husband and fellow passengers. When they finally stopped the train and got back to her, she was a way back on the tracks holding the brand-new, not badly hurt infant. I seriously would NOT have believed this except for it was on BBC. Yikes!

Me...I heard that one too, that is an amazing story!

In this video the woman is by the train tracks and lets go of the stroller to adjust her pants....when she looks up the stroller has rolled away and is going over the edge of the cement walkway down on to the track.... just as a train roars thru. She steps back and screams while the train pulls in. As soon as the train stops she and some witnesses run to the front of the train and find the baby screaming but unhurt. The train pushed the stroller a few hundred feet I believe. It is horrifying to watch.

I'm still working hard not to imagine the umbilical cord tearing violently or the entire placenta being torn from the mother's body. Yikes!

Someones gonna have to include that scene in a horror movie. It sounds like it came out of a horror movie.
