I didn't have any trouble, or stupid questions, when I sold eggs. Thankfully? lol I mixed large and medium eggs in the cartons and sold it all at the same price and within a day or two. I spread my customers out Monday X gets a doz, Tuesday, Y gets 2 doz, etc. They did eventually pay for themselves and the coop, so I did alright there.

What's funny with me is I seldom eat eggs and I haven't eaten chicken in about 12 years. So I keep them purely for fun. What eggs we get now, DS "gives away" to people around the village, who almost always gives him a few quid for them :)

For a couple of years I've sold eggs and made enough money to pay for the chicken feed and a little extra. My girls have finally ramped production up enough that I could probably start selling again. But, I think I'm gonna just boil 'em up and use the extras for pigs and dogs.

I think his idea is to keep them loose all the time and thats fine if you dont work and keep an eye out all day, but i got too much tangled in them to just feed the wildlife. So we just turn them out when im home and can keep an eye on them
