The problem with most restaurants is the pay is crap and you have to deal with entitled brats for customers. I'd never have worked a sit down restaurant back in Va Beach. McDonald's was a better gig than that. Especially on Sundays. Definitely Sundays. We saw too much abuse if we went out that day.

It was bad enough the entitled people who came into the bookstore I worked at. We were allowed to kick them out and call security, though. Security was encouraged as going a week without a shooting at the mall was rare. It wasn't in the best area.

Hubby's job has been hiring. They've lost too many people to Blue Origin. Not as many people go into aircraft maintenance anymore. His work also screens for personality. They don't hire jerks and that will get you fired from them. Happy workplace means work is done faster.

Didn't help with the lock down in 2020 and airlines weren't flying much so no work was coming in then. Peope got tired of reduced hours and looked elsewhere. It's a good workplace and he's happy there. Much better than when he was doing reset on the Army helicopters.

I bought 10 wire filled 16’ gates from TSC yesterday. Had to go to 2 stores to get the ones I wanted, 150 mile round trip. They have gone up $20, found 7 at price of $240. At other store, got 3, both managers gave me the 5% off for buying 10 and second manager matched price instead of $260 per gate.

By finding old stock and price matching I figure that saved me $200, plus the 5% off, another $120. Ag exemption saved me on sales tax. Still spent $2300 but I’ll use them all and will want more. This will get me started.

Gates are stupid expensive. I need a wire filled 16 footer and 2 regular bar 16 footers myself. But I've have been waiting for them to go on sale, like they did last winter.

I have one more 4x4 sheep goat fence to build around the pond. That'll take a few wire filled gates also 🙄

Have you seen the price of berart goat sheep fence? It's stupid expensive.

ALL of it is stupid expensive!!! Tried to buy a roll 2 weeks ago and couldn't find any even at stupid expensive! 😳. Was told they sold a lot last month.....at one store. Tried special order and they couldn't guarantee when delivery would happen. So I still need a couple rolls. Have 1.5 but that's roughly 490...line is about 1000'. If I can't do all, no telling when I'll get to ripping out rest of it. 🙄

The 2”x4” non climb wire we fenced the 8 acres with in Lindale has now doubled in price.

The green wire filled 16’ gates have gone up $120 and still climbing.
