My wild guess is Sugar.
Yeah, it has been waiting. Not much has materialized although they said it would take 3 years to recover.I hear coffee is waiting in the wings.
We had a discussion at my neighbors about peanut butter, last week. I was surprised how popular it is amongst all of us adults who were present. I eat it every evening before bed, usually with a banana or sliced apple (if we have fresh fruit).Potential for peanut butter, if eggs and meat prices stay high long enough to drive up demand for peanut butter as a protein source, and if global food shortages continue/accelerate (because peanut butter based supplements are a critical food for treating child wasting)
Are peanut shells good mixed in with animal feed? Seems like the would be, IDK...I live in p-nut country!! Sheller within a mile, p-nut butter packer, 6 miles. That's one protein source not worrying me. honestly, I'm not feeling any shortage pressures. I even get p-nut hulls free -- supplemental feed &/or bedding.
Peanut shells are better for bedding but some mixed in feed is tolerable. We get peanut skins and mix in with the cattle feed... adds a little bulk, extender so to speak.... and there are some peanuts in there so adds a little protein.
