$4 dz barely covers feed at today's prices . Production farms can do better, bulk buying. Taste isn't the same

18 count regular large eggs are $4.39
Dozen regular large are $2.99
5 dozen large are $14.39

I should get chickens again, but I have a string of terrible crappy coops to tear down before I can build a new one. I need to order meat chicks this week. That will make me finish the chicken tractors I started on 2 years ago before life blew up.

Well, I'm thinking actual carrot cake to bake!! Then, I'm wanting a mandarin orange one, also. Dump cake is on my mind.

I believe I just want some nice, moist cake!!

I love pumpkin pie for breakfast. But trying to behave and wind down on the yummy stuff. I need to lose some winter hibernation pounds. Been making my list, switching to no/low carbs. Meat and vegetables and no sweets. Sugar is my downfall.

Pumpkin pie can be very healthy...just cut back on sugar. I'm having ginger snaps. Rather have the pie, none here.

Really really good, just a hint of sweet. Most definitely not a sugar bomb. I think white raisins really set this carrot cake baked oatmeal off. As far as recipes there are lots of baked oatmeal recipes I would just search, compare and experiment.
