Should I tap my Maples?

The trees are plenty big. One is about 60 years old. It's a MONSTER. The two other trees are only a little younger. They aren't huge like the big monster tree, plenty big for tapping. I am only thinking of trying 1 tap per tree to see how it goes. The monster tree could take 3 or 4 taps.
