That's exactly what I do! The only thing I can't seems to totally eradicate is in the toilet bowl. My calcium deposits are generally white. But in the toilet bowl where the water comes out of the rim, it's slightly yellow/tan color and much thicker. I have to spray several times and pick it off with a fingernail, and even then I can't get it all off.
I think once I can REMEMBER to re-spray every 30 minutes or so all day and let it sit, I'll be able to get it all. The problem is, it's our only bathroom and I can't not flush all day long.
