My meat birds are separate from my layers. As a matter of fact, I didn't have enough room to put all the meaties together, so I have them in 2 separate containers for now.

I was probably packing chicks in the back when you came to Meyer yesterday. :) I don't pack pick up orders though. Someone else works on those orders and the rest of us strictly pack chicks for shipping. You will be glad to have eggs and meat again!
I was thinking about asking the lady at the counter if you were working, but I didn't want to get you into any trouble. Everyone that works there seems to be VERY helpful. It's nice to see customer service taken seriously.

In primer. It will be white with green trim.

I am also building a 10 ft x 4 ft run that will fasten on the bird door end of the tractor/coop. It will allow them to go under the coop or be out in the sun. It is also on wheels for easy maneuverability. There are also some hinged, drop down panels, covered in hardware cloth, that fasten to the sides and end, to keep them under the coop. The frame work for those panels are leaning against the shop in the one photo.
