I've gotten one that size b4. My son wanted to know if it would actually hatch out if left.

I got a tiny little green one from my EE pullet (about dang time...she's a month later than all the rest of my new girls) and a huge one last week. They seem to go crazy when they first start....guess they're trying to get it "right"

I got one like that from a duck when she was starting to lay. The next day we got a huge one from her that was a double yolker. Because our small egg had no yolk, they told me at Backyardchicken that it was a "fart" egg.

There is even a thread over there where someone had a "fart" egg and it had a yolk and they successfully hatched it.

How funny, I did not write the word "wind"......

I have a whole collection of ones that are about the size of shooter marbles. Just various ones that I have gotten over the few years I had chickens. I think I have about four of them in a mussel shell, like pearls. :D

I got one that was only about the size of the tip of my thumb. It was probably someone's first egg, or near it. No yolk in it, but a weird black spot. Haven't had any more tiny ones like that since.

I wish I'd blown it out and kept it.
