Smilies question

Hey, this is a silly thing, but I've been meaning to ask. I've got 12 fairly basic smilies at the top of the page each time I post. And I don't know well enough to know what the others are... where are you all getting them from? Is there a master list somewhere? How have you found all these complex, animated, wacky smilies?

To the right of the field where you type in your message, there is this: Smilies [show] [hide].

Well it took me forever to figure out posting a picture, and I'm avatarless to date.

Just wait till that cute little baby grows into a second grader. She'll run circles around you on the computer. My kids make me feel incompetent on a daily basis.
