"I do use organic tampons sometimes, but I usually use men's cotton handkerchiefs that I fold in odd ways so I can get quite a few "passes" out of them before I have to wash them. It's like menstrual origami. I try not to use tampons often because the cord irritates me, and pads-well, anything with plastic makes me chafe."
Whew! That makes me feel better! For almost a year, I folded toilet paper into tampons. Because I couldn't use my ob tampons with the septic system here and I WILL NOT use pads!
