People do it with dead relatives. Dunno why it is a bad. She must have loved her dog a lot.

That's why I thought it was gross. All the memorial tattoos I see are so ugly!! :gig

i think having a memorial tattoo...if done in a tastefull meaningfull way is nice...
howver her placmetns of this one is STUPID, feet go through way too much wear and tear, betwen socks, shoes, friction, sloughing dead skin cells, pedicures (shes a star afterall) sand, sun, wet, ect...that tattoo will look 10 years old in about 10 months and will need ot be retouched at least every other year to keep it readable...

i personally plan to get tats representing my pets, i just havnt yet decided where each will go yet.

but then again i do like tattoos and have 5 of them sooo....
at least a pet is loyal forever..better than having your boyfrined/girlfriend/husband/wifes name tattooed to you...

I don't see anything wrong with getting your dog's name tattoed on your body- but putting it on the foot cheapens it. I would want my boy's name close to my heart. Every time I look at a photo of my dog I think about the fact that no man has ever loved me as much as he did. I would give anything to get that back.

I'm not a tattoo person, but if I were to get one, the names of my dogs would be something meaningful to me, I just don't think it would look very pretty. If someone could make a pretty memorial to my dogs, I would possibly consider a tattoo. I don't think it is strange or funny she got a tattoo with her dog's name, she has money to burn and obviously loved the dog.

My "smarter than anyone" daughter got a huge tattoo on her calf of MY best friend. Why she did it? I have absolutely no clue. Its even got my friends name on it.

my friend apologised for it. She had nothing to do with it. She's freaked and embarassed by it.

I told her there is no understanding why my kid does what she does. I told my friend to take it as a compliment and not worry about it.

Whats done is done and my daughter is grown.

Just really seemed weird, but she also has a tattoo for every relationship she's been in.

dinos kissing on top of her foot, rose that says forever, he has the same that says love, they broke up two months later.

she's got a few more but I quit looking.

tattoos are so common now, they are like getting your ears peirced.
