Hello there
Just wanted to say that I use my black crock pot w glass lid, in the sun with a cardboard box wrapped inside with aluminum foil around it. And a window over the whole thing. I turn the crock pot on for half an hour, turn it off, and then just let the sun do the rest, if the temperature inside stays hot. If the temperature dips, I turn it back on again.
It seems to do the trick very well at least in the summer.
