Dace I am sorry I did not mean to frighten you. :hu I just wanted you to be cautious and not just grab a handful of straw. Adien has very good point with the sunning rock idea. :clap Snakes can be your friend as they eat rodents and insects. Get a tracking stick like 2Dream uses .

I meant to answer this a while ago but I think they sunbathe in the morning and at the end of the day when they are trying to recharge their internal batteries for hunting.

Thanks AidenB...Karan I am not scared, just creeped out!

I will be cautious! On a more positive note, yesterday I noticed 3 of my little spuds had popped up! Yay!!!
