@Britesea that's is sooo funny and unfortunately likely with my Wildbunch!

Well DS saw the orthopedic doc and a consult with another surgeon. They put him in a long leg cast temporarily. He is tired and cranky today but was glad to have gotten out of the house. He wants to go to church tomorrow but I want him to rest up. I'm sure he will go though.

Tuesday we go back for them to knock him out and straighten the leg. He said they may decide to put a little hardware in but not for sure. They said that it is not terribly out of place and at his age he will heal quick and it is likely that some straightening will occur at his age. Apparently the younger you are the better this works.

Prayer is what got us through the first couple of days when he was crying in pain. Praying over him always calms him and lets him rest. A time in his life when he didn't think he needed Mama anymore has brought him back to me. This has reminded him how much I love him. Every time he needs help, he only wants Mama to help him.

When I broke my elbow and ankle last year I had sooo much pain. Enough so that, when we are driving, if a car is arriving from a side road on, my side of the car, I pull up and guard my arm and leg and "cringe". I also feel that when it happens on my husbands side for I don't want him to go through what I did last year... LOL

Hope that child stops jumping off the roof. Hope he heals well. Having that much pain is the best life lesson....unfortunately.

:love I hope they'll have him fixed up and feeling better soon! It's great that you're being such a comfort for him and him needing that so much now though. It's hard when our babies start spreading their wings and get more independent.

He says he is going to be afraid to do anything now but I know that will pass soon enough. I'm sure he will be more cautious from now on.

Well Jordy had to have a couple of screws put in his leg to straighten his bone. It was a really bad, painful day for him but he slept well last night and this morning there is much less pain. He said that his leg doesn't hurt as much now when he moves because the bones aren't moving. Thank you for your prayers. I know that's what has helped me most in this situation. When he cries in pain praying for him calms him down. We live in a small town and almost every church in town is having their congregation pray for him and of course all our friends (including y'all of course). What do people do that don't believe in God do in times like this? It must be so hard for them to face things alone!
