LOL, my fellow speech assistant is from Rhode Island. She does therapy with kids who need to improve their /r/ sounds! She can at least laugh at herself. I have a tendency to drop the /g/ from my /ing/ endings. Or should I say endin's?

I am afraid you are all mistaken!

It's

"Ain't got none."

Ain't it?

:D

I am with 2dream on this one. The point of communication is that people be able to understand each other, not to all talk the same.

I also mentioned before (I think at BYC) that I am a professional proofreader for probably the smartest and most successful person I know. He makes gramatical errors all the time.

So what? :)

ugh, my spelling and grammar are SOOO terrible you'd probably get tired of always telling me. Fortunately I try to hit the spell check button on the google toolbar before I hit submit. :)

<edit to add... see I found one mispelling already and fixed it>
You might be safe. It isn't good to get the administrator mad at you.

Okay, I'm going to "axe" a question here. Is it okay to say "don't got any"? :D THAT is my pet peeve around here. Noone bothers with verb tense at all, even when dealing professionally in their jobs. Do they not even hear how uncouth this sounds when they are talking to a doctor about a patient?
I don't got anything to say about that.
Don't got nothin', Dac. It's hard for a grammarian to get the colloquialism right! ;)
I thought it didn't sound right.

Ah ain't got nuttin ta say 'bout thet.

Colloquialism? :hu

Whatever even is that? It's got something to do with words, don't it?
