I can't tell you the number of "seeds" I've planted in DH's head, where months later, he will say, "Man, I just had this GREAT idea!" In my case, it was sweet corn that got him involved in the gardening. To his credit, tho, he has been the one pushing for SS all along, altho I was an easy sell. FF, your plan was awesome!!
SB, definitely do what you can to cut costs so that you can get out of debt. I've been down the credit card debt road, and it takes a load of stress off to pay it off. Do anything you can to save money and cut costs at home. If you have some creative talents, maybe explore etsy.com, so see if you can sell your art/crafts/other products there? I know several people who make some decent money that way. Every little bit helps.
