Almost Self-Reliant
I was thinking of buying the plans to build this coop... it's made entirely from recycled pallets, and looks quite nice. You can usually find old pallets for free in lots of places, or by placing an ad on craigslist/kijiji. Really it's a little small scale if you are going to be getting enough chickens for eating, I just wanted some for laying hens first. I got free pallets, so the whole coop should be less than $40, hardware and paint included.gettinaclue said:Don't know if we will have the money to build to chicken coop or not...that may have to be put off for YET ANOTHER YEAR!!!That is really killing me.
