I get another year older!!! :barnie

In all seriousness though, it's hearing the peepers, daffodils blooming (crocus and hyacinths too for a first this year), redbuds, dogwoods, Luna moths, butterflies, wasps ( :hide ), sprouts of green everywhere. getting this years veggie and herb seeds started and last but not least...the Carolina Wrens rebuilding lasts years nest in the outhouse (which is really a nylon camping shower). :gig

Dawn, I've been thinking about you lately. I've seen various types of bees, wasps, etc. And, each time I do, I think of you. :plbb

Spring will be when all our snow melts... and the garlic comes up in the yard, it's usually the first thing up :) I've got another month or so before it's really spring here, but we've been having such beautiful weather it feels like it's already here!

Spring Equinox morning... Four inches of fresh snow on the ground here!

However, certain characteristic birds have returned in the last week. They probably know something. :/

Well it that's what it takes to have someone thinking of me... :gig I really don't mind any of them, it's just that the red wasps get right in my face and will not leave me alone! Had one hitch a ride into the camper on top of my head yesterday, when I was bringing it water. Was glad doc was home as he took care of it for me...there's not enough room in the camper for me and a red wasp! :gig

A few other signs of spring for me include being able to have the windows open for fresh air and morel mushrooms!
