Oh dang....snow... We get so little here that it's always a treat. At the same time, it always reminds me how hard it would be to have a whole winter full of snow...

@frustratedearthmother The drive this morning (I was stopped at a traffic light). We did not get the full amount predicted, as the lake effect snow machine shifted to the NE as the winds shifted from a more westerly direction.

@FarmerJamie - that’s beautiful! I really do love looking at it/ but I am a terrible cold weather wimp! We got down to 29 and while that might not be cold to some of you guys- it’s absolutely FRiGID to me!

y’all would laugh at the way I bundle up. This morning I had 4 layers on the top, two on the bottom and two on my head.

We had 18F this morning. I ditched my usual work coat and wore my heavy Carhartt jacket. No shame in bundling up!

Gotta love a Carhartt coat - it's what I wear to feed in. It gets dirty, but it holds up well to being washed and when I do wash it - I always spray it down afterwards with some Scotchguard. It's like a Timex - takes a licking and keeps on ticking, lol!

Love my Carhartt. It's 10 years old now, and just barely starting to show any wear (it drapes softer now)

We've been unusually warm. It only hit 46 last night. Should be mid to low 30s this time of year with rain. It's been too dry as well

I've gone out to feed in flannel lined blue jeans, long sleeve T, sweat hoodie and Carhartt jacket. Oh and blanket lined Wells Lamont leather gloves! If it gets colder, I got Carhartt coveralls!
