86. If no AC, you can sprinkle the bed sheets with water and turn on a fan. The evaporation will cool you off. I have lived with out AC at various times in my life and a spray bottle would take me from sleepless, sweaty, misery to cool restful sleep.
I've done this many, many times! We lived for a few years in a very hot region in SA where summer nighttime temperatures were often over 90*F. We never had AC. Damp bed sheets and a fan was the way to go :)

I've never thought of that Bay. Wish I would of. The air went out in the apartment I used to live in. For like three weeks in the middle of summer. I used a big bucket of ice in front of a fan. I guess a spray bottle would have been cheaper.

87. Don't think I've see this one yet. (might be wrong - I'm old)
Learn to start a fire without a match/lighter. I watch Survivorman, I should know how to do this!

We've talked about butchering/processing our own livestock and wild game, but I don't think we specifically said anything about the hide.

87. Learn to tan a hide
88. Learn to make necessities from that hide

I love the show Alaska the Last Frontier. They have some animals shelters that they use hides as windbreaks. They don't waste nuttin' up there!

Ooh good one @frustratedearthmother . My husband really wants to learn how to do brain tanning.

We like watching Mountain Men. Of course we don't have real TV so we have to watch shows 2 seasons later when they come out on DVD and we can rent them, haha. One of the guys on that show does brain tanning. So neat.
