Mom gave me this right before our wedding, and I had planned on baby wearing it Sunday.
Got it out and saw the stain right away.

Do you know what caused the stain? That would help in knowing what to get it out with.

Wait...I'm really slow to pick up...I just saw you're bringing home your daughter next week?!? Wow. I'm SO happy for you!!!!

As to the stain, as long as you don't put it in the dryer (which I am sure you're too smart to do anyway), you could try to dab it with any kind of soap/prewash stuff/cheap shampoo, etc. first, to see if it will come out. You might just get lucky.

Have you tried soaking it in peroxide? That works on cotton.

I had not thought of that! i have used it on carpet at times.

I got most of it out.
Soap did not do anything, so in searching around, I thought I would try a tiny dab of Cascade.
And it worked pretty well. Now, you can just see a tiny hint in really strong light.

I think I am reacting strongly to everything right now

I'm late on this but if you can find Grandma's Secret Stain Remover it will get out virtually anything. It got dried blueberry juice out of my white quilt.

I don't know if you can order it online but I found mine at a fabric store. You may try googling it.

White vinegar may get it out too.
