And, there's way more living fossils than most people realize.
Yeah there are, and scientists won't see the coincidence.........

If you read the stories from Greek mythology w/ a different perspective, you can see them fitting in w/stories from the Bible, just twisted. For instance, the story of Pandora's Box is the story of Eve eating the forbidden fruit.
Part of that is cross-culture contamination as societies ebb and flow. A new conqueror comes in and the indigenous population says "we do this thing to celebrate that" after a while the new culture has incorporated events from both. Or limited data/knowledge interpreted something with a little imagination - Like Mediterranean tales of cyclops perhaps coming from small elephant skulls which have a large cavity in the center of the forehead. Or dinosaur bones in China perhaps giving rise to tales of dragons.

The Hopi, I believe have stories of the "Star People" who came to Earth and mated with humans.

Not arguing one way or another, just commenting from another historical perspective.

It's there. It would be much easier for me to deal with if:

1. We weren't having such nice weather. Past 2 winters were cold and snowy. This one is warm and rainy.

2. People were taking proper care of my animals. Friday, I left a cut up apple w/my feed so whoever fed could give it to them. The apple was STILL in the bag when I got out there yesterday. It's now IN their feed.

3. People were doing work around my house. They don't want me to do it, but at the same time, they're not doing it themselves. :/

I wish I lived next door so that I could help....I love doing that kind of stuff for folks. I'm glad it was just a ragged meniscus and not a total knee, though I've heard it's easier to get over a total knee replacement than it is surgery on the cartilage or tendons only. Hang in there! :hugs

Just finished morning service online with my home church and I must say, I just heard the best message on tithing that I've ever heard. I have been tithing better for some time now but wish I had understood tithing years and years ago. When I started to read my Bible each day was when I learned what I needed to know about tithing but this morning's message told me other things I hadn't known.

Goes to show you never stop learning about God and His will for us, huh?

Thanks, Bee. I have a feeling though, that I'll heal up sooner than if I had others willing to do more for me. I'm not going to overdo it, but at the same time, I can't just sit back and wait for things to get done, it just won't happen.

:hugs DD. It won't be long and you'll be out there doing what you enjoy. I know a couple of years ago we went to visit family out of state and I had to leave an entire farm to my bil and sil to tend. I couldn't wait to get home!
Bee, is that sermon online yet? I want to listen to it too.
