Rebecca you just keep trusting! Man I have been learning alot of what Bee said in recent months as well. I am one to panic at any thought that crosses my mind...and many do:) But nowdays i do just what Bee says...she is so good at expressing exactly the way it is!
OOOoooooo, dangerous waters, MC!!!!   Now I feel scared...what if I say the wrong thing and lead folks astray? Still...it is a real blessing to hear that someone gains help or insight from something I said. I'll just thank the Lord for giving me the words, shall I? :D All good things flow from God!

I can't wait to see what He is going to do next because when things look bad is when we really see His goodness!!!
That's so cool! That is exactly what I always say!!! I always tell my mom that I can't wait to see what God will do next because it feels so personal when He takes care of us like that....like He reaches down and gives you a hug when you need it most, isn't it? It's more exciting~but in a good way~than living on stress and worry. I almost chuckle when God steps in right when I reach the edge of a thing and pulls me gently back and says, "Wait...watch what I'll do next! You're gonna love this!".

That feeling is the reason I can't stop talking about it...I know folks get tired of hearing me but that feeling is the biggest natural high a person can get...biggest I've ever felt, anyway. It feels like...floating through life and being held up by strong hands and knowing, no matter what happens, nothing can make you fall! :love

Romans 8:37-39

No, despite all these things, overwhelming victory is ours through Christ, who loved us.

And I am convinced that nothing can ever separate us from Gods love. Neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither our fears for today nor our worries about tomorrownot even the powers of hell can separate us from Gods love. No power in the sky above or in the earth belowindeed, nothing in all creation will ever be able to separate us from the love of God that is revealed in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Okay just an update- I found the turkey! I went out one last time with a flashlight and she was sitting in plain view beside the boat. Funny thing is I had looked around under AND in that boat before. I was so relieved she didn't get in the highway or in the neighbors yard.

How very fitting that this came up in my esword today:)

More on Faith and Grace
The just shall live by faith . . . So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God . . . I know whom I have believed and am persuaded that He is able to keep what I have committed to Him. (Rom_1:17, Rom_10:17, and 2Ti_1:12)
The entire Christian walk is designed to be lived by faith. "The just shall live by faith." Every step of every day, every issue that we face is to be addressed in reliance upon the Lord. This path of trust accesses the grace that God desires to shower upon us. Remember, faith is what corresponds with grace. "Therefore it is of faith that it might be according to grace" (Rom_4:16). Trying our hardest does not ensure God's grace working in and though us. Attempting to be passive does not bring forth a display of His grace. However, humbly trusting in the Lord, whether taking action or patiently waiting, will always result in His grace undertaking for us.
Yet, how does one specifically learn to live by faith? Rom_10:17 is very helpful here. "So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God." As we get into the scriptures, desiring to hear from the Lord, faith has opportunity to grow. Through the word, God speaks to us about Himself and His ways. He tells us His plans and purposes. He provides insights into reality. He drives away illusions and misconceptions. He offers promises and assurances. As we are thereby getting to know who the Lord is and what He wants to do, we are stirred to trust Him to work these matters into our lives. We face trials or opportunities, and we trust Him to be faithful. We learn of our own inadequacy and are driven to His sufficiency. We look to the Lord in daily personal issues, and He proves faithful. Through it all, our faith continues to grow in response to what the Lord is revealing to us and is doing for us. This is God's grace at work, because His word is"the word of His grace" (Act_20:32).
This process illustrates the relational reality of faith. Faith is not something we can produce. It results from getting to know the Lord more and more. Paul spoke of this pattern in part of his testimony. "I know whom I have believed and am persuaded that He is able to keep what I have committed to Him" (2Ti_1:12). As the years passed, Paul was getting acquainted with the Lord in whom he had first believed. Then, as this relationship with Christ developed, Paul was increasingly convinced of his master's ability to handle any matter that he would entrust into His hands. All the while, this faith that was developing in Paul was drawing upon the resources of God's grace.
O Lord, my God,I want to live daily by faith in You. Please work in my heart a growing appetite for Your word, that my faith may develop, as I am hearing from You. Forgive me for taking matters into my own hands and not looking to You. Show me situations that I need to entrust to You. This I humbly pray, in Jesus name, Amen

Amen.

Thank you, MC. :hugs

I used to despair and cry out, plead and even grow angry at God for trials in my life but I didn't know that He was attempting to teach me to walk in faith, believing and trusting that "all things work for good for those who love the Lord"....I just didn't see it. He was also making me a little tough, as the little things didn't seem so big after having such big stress in my life so often.

Now I can look back on those times and those events and thank God for loving me enough to give me things to teach me faith and trust in Him. I think if I had had a life of smooth sailing and easy moments that I would know little about faith in God and would be assuming that my life was that way because I had done something to create that smooth path. I think I would also be incredibly crippled in my faith when something big and disastrous did happen in my life, so that I would crumple and fall at the least upset.

Since reading the Bible more I have found that He prunes the branch that bears fruit so that it will bear more fruit and He chastises those He loves like a father to a child....from that I can only assume He loves me and finds me fruitful in one way or another 'cause I sure been pruned and chastised a bunch! :p

Pruning~ I take to mean~ cutting off nonproductive areas of my life, be it habits, associations with the wrong crowd, thoughts, wrong beliefs or teachings, and things to which I devote my time and thoughts that are not particularly godly.

Chastisement, I don't think comes in the form of God punishing us for wrong doing, but maybe allowing us to reap the seeds we sow and suffer the consequences of our actions a little. I could be wrong in that but that's what I've gleaned from my own experience and the Scriptures.

What do you think, MC?

I liked that Morel. Goes along with what I was reading in Ephesians. 2:8-9. For by grace ye are saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God. Not of works lest any man should boast. So faith is Gods gift to you which you receive by reading His word and trusting Him. Through that faith we receive His grace. I hope I said that right and it made sense! Lol Hebrews 11:6 but without faith it is impossible to please Him; for he that cometh to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of them that diligently seek Him. Romans 10:17 that you already listed. So that faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.
