Don't ask yourself what the world needs. Ask yourself what makes you come alive, and go do that, because what the world needs is people who have come alive.
We sometimes confuse what we are called to do with what we *think* we are called to do because we are told it's the "right and proper" thing to do.
The book is written by a pastor, and was referred to me by a pastor friend. Please do spend the time to read it. I wish an older man would have understood this and mentored me on it when I was your age. Would have saved me a lot a grief and heartbreak.
I am trying to read through mine for the first time. When I accomplish that, I am going to study specific topics with my Thompson Chain Reference Bible.
Reading thru the Bible is a great way to get more familiar w/it-especially if you write cross references down. It seems like every time I read it, I find something new.
Bad, sad day in our little hometown. A family that has had too much tragedy and loss in the last year has been burdened again when a young man took his life this morning. Please pray for this family.
