Good for you! And, that's a favorite trick of Satan's. He knows the Bible better than any of us do, and will twist it to try and trick us.rebecca100 said:I agree. Satan and his workers are transformed into angels of light. 2 Corinthians 11:14, 15.
And, Paul warns against anyone preaching any other gospel, even an angel. Galatians 1:6-9.
IMO, there are plenty of topics in the Bible that we can all discuss that will be useful to the growth and development of all w/out getting into things that will cause controversy. I've found that the majority of things that cause controversy ARE NOT important to salvation, but are different ways that people interpret part of the Bible. And, this is the same reason we have different types of churches. I think our best bet is to find areas that we agree on, and stick to them.
