We have turned off our lights for an hour so that we can show the whole world that we want to fight Global warming. Do you have something like this on your country?

Considering that even the "experts" that said there was global warming have stated that it's taking a break, I see no point in this.

It's here in the US. I didn't observe it.

At last someone did answer my question!

I am surprised; I thought that the US should be the first one to be doing this on the first place because Obama is running some campaign about it.

Choco,
Obama may be the president but that doesn't mean that the majority listen to him or like him.

Actually that is true of most presidents. Just because people put him in the office doesn't mean that the majority really wanted HIM.....most of the time it's just that were REALLY didn't want the other guy.

Oh, Frankie. Every poll shows that Obama's popularity and job rating are still extremely high. They may not report that on every station, but it's the truth. He also won the Presidency in a landslide, in case you didn't hear.
Of course, it's hard to compete with Michael Steele. President Obama is quaking in his boots over him.

Heretoday,
Why is it that the polls that agree with you are "the truth" but polls that don't are skewed? Obama won in a LANDSLIDE???? Math wasn't your strongest subject in school, was it? He won with 52.9% of the popular vote. That is NOT a "landslide".

I already know that everyone will not obey their president but this is something for our planet. If many will participate then many companies will be encourage to fund the project on healing the ozone.

JActually, math was not my strongest subject in school, but I know a skewed number when I see one. I also know skewed polls. You're welcome to your own personal dreamland, Frankie, enjoy it for the next eight years.:D

Heretoday, That wasn't a skewed number, it's the final vote count. Look it up. I realize that you democrats hate facts, but deal with it.

Have you never considered that another democrat might run for the nomination in 2012 that you like better? I guess not. You and your ilk are so caught up in Obamamania that you can't think straight.

Choco,
Australia Antarctic Division glaciology program head Ian Allison said sea ice losses in west Antarctica over the past 30 years had been more than offset by increases in the Ross Sea region, just one sector of east Antarctica.

"Sea ice conditions have remained stable in Antarctica generally," Allison said.

Ice core drilling in the fast ice off Australia's Davis Station in East Antarctica by the Antarctic Climate and Ecosystems Co-Operative Research Center shows that last year, the ice had a maximum thickness of 1.89m, its densest in 10 years.

The paper on it is due to be released soon. There is no global warming. Even the UN concedes that it seems to have halted. The Russian Academy of Science published a report 2 years ago that said it was going to halt and then COOL DOWN.....when is exactly what is happening.

I guess there is just not much money to be made in global cooling.
