Ha, new to the forum but wanted to weigh in on this old thread, I am an electrician offshore in the Gulf of Mexico, and for the hour they wanted everyone to kill their lights; I fired up my second 800 kw natural gas generator and paralleled the load so both gen-sets would be loaded, just to offset as many weak minded people as possible. Ya gotta love having a total of 2.6 megawatts of generator capacity at your disposal... Global warming is pure hype, even the scientist that created/founded The Weather Channel has publicly stated this. As for Mr. Obama, I consider him an anomalous curiosity, who will, if he is lucky, make it to the next election without being impeached for malfeasance in office, or having his presidency terminated expeditiously by other means. If by chance he does not get booted, or worse, history will look back on him much as it does on Jimmy Carter, all hot air and no substance.
If he and the Dems in Congress continue their dash towards socialism in open defiance of the Constitution of the United States, they will all be lucky if there is an election in 2010...

Global warming ?¿?¿

I for one am quite pleased with global warming as without it my farm in Northern Wisconsin would still be under a couple miles of glaciers. Thank God for those Neanderthals and their campires that created the first global warming phase.

I have lived in the upper Amazon basin for the last 25 years and it seems to be getting cooler here. Last night was cool and wonderful.

Global warming is ONE BIG industry. On the internet there are over 40,000 pages of organizations asking for money to help jungle here in the city where we live when in fact not a one exists here. Guess what ?¿ On every page of these web sites there is a place to send money to .
