Talk to me about hemp (oils, milk, protein etc.)

Hemp is closely related, but would be useless for the people that need medical marijuana. The THC is part of what makes it medically useful.
Marijuana can still provide fibers for the other purposes, but real hemp plants don't provide the intoxicating effects.
In the USA- It's usually illegal to grow either type.

Yeah, hemp and cannabis are two different plants, very closely related but still different. Fwiw, only females grow seeds and cannabis seeds will also have some thc in them. And unfortunately, both are illegal on a federal level here in the US.
