I am!!

Multi tasking to the max.

Sun came out and supposed to be 80 today.

Making soap batches, washing tons of eggs, have 1 load of laundry on the line, and washing blankets and comforters and pillow cases and sheets right now! Got chlorine in the pool and running one last time, need to take out the leaves and shut her down....when? LOL...I don't know. All the while cleaning up Nicole's room cause her "little girlfriend" Liberty is coming over right after pre-school. (why clean before the kid comes, cause I have too..HA HA)
Need to order soap supplies and egg cartons and all that stuff! putting it off means "oh no" in a few days..HA HA

2 more "not un-wanted, but not needed right now" big soap orders came in and that puts me behind again...UGH

Tony then drops on me this morning to call 2 stores that want my soap.

Who has time to call? Each call means chatting about goats and the farm and takes an hour. Who has an hour? I don't...LOL

Chatting while working going from station to station in the house. And I know I have barn work. Gotta mow around where I feed and such and putting that off. Gotta Dr. on a goat's legs. She has some kind of rawness at the back of her 2 back legs. What it is I don't know cause in my 12 years of goat farming never seen it before? Got Blue-Kote to spray on it...should help I hope.

Worst thing is I am "looking around" the house----now I know I must dust....I must vacuum, I must do this and that---Arrghh....I am in multi-task overload...HA HA HA

oh well
will survive

who is feeling like this today? well heck almost every single day! :)
LOL

help :p

WOW---that is low for this time of year.

Yea I have it better than you---at least the sun came out and I am smiling cause of that sunny weather! Wind is whipping which is great to dry those heavy comforters and such.

OK---I take it all back. I am happy! LOL---and stress free right now.

42 degrees currently and it is a bit after 9:00 am...

Got a daughter off and runing to school, cooked her a fine breakfast of mulitgain wraps filled with fresh eggs and cheese...a big glass of fresh, raw milk...gotta get that brain of hers working. Sent her with a nice lunch of last night's leftovers, a fresh Asian pear from the orchard and a cold jug of well water.

Fed, watered and cleaned after 3 horses, 2 dogs, the sheep, the new ducks :love who muddy up pretty much everything that contains water, and all 10 chickens and rabbits.

Sat down to check in on y'all, fed myself and had a cup of hot tea.

Now what is on my to do list for the rest of the day?

1. Fence in under the back deck b/c dogs keep getting under it. (Currently Working On) (Check)
2. Fix the holes in my garden's fence to keep the newly free range chickens and ducks out. (Check)

3. Rake back the mulch on my garden, till the soil and prepare it for spring and cover it back up with the mulch.

4. Turn my compost pile...way over due! (Check)
5. PICK THE PEARS THAT ARE READY!!! (Check)

6. Gather more fire wood. I have a shed full of cut fire wood, but a lot of wood that fell and dried on its own is ready to be picked up and stored before the rainy season starts...next week. (Check!)

7. The house? Well, that is a whole other list!!

8. Groom and ride the horses.

9. Help with homework after school and have mommy and me time.

10. Exercise!

11. I've got breakfast for all of us under my belt, but lunch and dinner are still waiting. (Lunch Check)
12. Move seasoned wood to the woodshed. (Check) :th
13. Clean fire place and chimney. (Check)
14. Make bread. (In the Process...)

There is a strange smell coming from the laundry room and I think today is the day I find out where it's source is. :sick

:th

Perhaps I need one more cup of hot tea!

ETA: I had that extra cup of tea and checked some things off my list, I also added a few things...

I am still waiting on it to warm up before I get out. I did feed andput the goats out. Now I need to clean their stall and clean the house. It is just now warming up inside. I try to avoid using the heater unless necessary. About 11o'clock I decieded it was necessary! Almost 60 outside, better than 50 like it has been!

Have to redo seperater fence in the chicken house and move the door,

add another piece of fencing to the inside turkey pen as well as a door, swap the turkeys and peafowl around, move the last butcher chickens,

Throw out the remaining 20+ eggs in the incubator because my stupid roosters appear to be infertile

Move portable pens to someplace out of the wind

Move the horse tanks out of my brooder shed and find a place to store them,

And build a new section onto the inside pigeon flight pen.

Thats all that we have on our list for today, lets see if we can get it all done though. Luckily I don't have to do it mjyself though.

I quit checking the temperature because its depressing, but I know its supposed to snow this week.

yaaayy...
