Cherry pie is unleavened bread and fruit, what's not good about it?

FB did a really good job on the cherry pie. Its made with canned bing cherries from early summer 2024. The natural flavor of cherries is a real delight. She said she brushed the top with water and sprinkled a little bit of organic cane sugar on top before baking, which made a light crunchy layer on the top crust.

The cherry pie is quite uniquely delicious. Not a sugar bomb at all, I can taste all the ingredients that are very well balanced. I know most all cherry pies a mainly sugar, some are so sweet they taste sour to me. So it's refreshing to have a well balanced cherry pie.

I seen this and thought it would interesting to post.
