I feel for you! Hubby threw his back out about a year ago and he was out of work for a month! He drove me crazy.

ah, Dawn, leg going wonky is a good way to describe it.

when I had a herniated disc in my neck nothing would fix it except surgery. my arm went 'wonky' and I couldn't hold onto anything. yes the limb becomes darn near useless and hurts

hope he comes thru it ok!

my retirement is based on traveling in the camper. I hope and pray it is enough to keep me from killing him....diversion in traveling

i know how you feel. my dh has been off since last feb with his back. his disks herniated so bad they were cutting off the nerves that went to his legs. also degenerating disk dissease, and arthritis in his back. he would be going and all of a sudden he would loose the feeling in his legs. he is 300 lb so they said surgury isnt an option. he is getting better but SOOO very slow.

Good luck with that! I have had to change my attitude and perspective 180 degrees to keep peace--and sanity-- in my world for the last nine years! With my DH, if there is little around him that he can control--then I look like a good project! Hah! Not any more!
