added pictures from the Mountain thread [on TEG] to this project and added more words to 'splain them and tried to make it better, but i will probably come back to this page again in the future as it really is getting long...

the south field after being plowed and tilled, but not smoothed yet or planted from what i'm seeing. no signs of new plants coming up or much else, plus what they tilled really isn't going to accomplish much, but we'll see what happens next year, perhaps they'll try again or something...

i did not expect anyone to be at the garden club meeting, but i went anyways as i like being at the library once in a while and it's nice to be able to use a big table to sort things out. i had some beans in a bucket i took to work on and got most of the odd stuff picked out, but there remains the Red Ryder and Purple Dove beans to go through and sort them from each other and inspect the Purple Dove beans to see if there are any that i missed that i'll want to pull out and put aside for replanting in the coming years.

some interesting beans for sure. :) i'm always happy to see those. :)

woke up a bit early, had a light breakfast and then went back to sleep. Mom wanted to make some cracker crunch and caramel corn so when i woke up again she was ready to get the caramel corn bagged up. perfect plan for a Saturday morning. :)

brr! high of 20F today and that is right now and then falling throughout the rest of the day down to 2F overnight. at least not much wind. there's no snow in the forecast but a few flurries are coming down now.

back to bean sorting today and a few small chores.

it isn't very windy out there so it was pretty warm going out to get the paper at the end of the driveway. there was a clump of ice/droppings on the driveway from the previous day's propane delivery truck and it was frozen solid when i kicked it to see if it would move.

it will be back up to the high 30s in a few days so all will melt off again. i much prefer it snowy and white out there as it looks nice and clean and not so brown and gray.

Isn't that another "hundred year" option¿? Negative it is.

I do not want any!! 20s here right now and I'm hating it! From inside, of course 🥶:old
