Dang - you had a busy day!

That would make for a no good, very bad day!

i was pretty tired by the end of it, i didn't have enough oomph to really get a lot of the quack grass and edge done as i would have liked but i also don't want to overdo it and put myself out of commission for a while either to recover. gotta work back into the routine.

i waited up until Mom got home but as soon as she settled in for the evening to watch her show on dvd i conked out and then woke up to say goodnight and went back to sleep.

maybe today is a day off. it looks like we're on the edge of possible rains this morning and we are supposed to have the washing machine repair people here (two people for this round) this morning.

Oh gee whiz! They just need to bring you a new washer!

yes, that was part of my conversation with the service department lady today. 2 months, 5 trips, no end in sight,

i am not amused at all and it gets worse...

at the end of today's repairs they handed me two metal brackets and said that they didn't know what they did but they kept falling off, said they probably helped keep the corners more stable. i was like wtf... i sure hope whoever they send Monday is not either of these two who were here today.

trip 5 (or is it 6 now? i've lost count) from washing machine repair people. at least he was here and saw what was happening. at first i was worried because we went through a cycle and it worked without a problem, but we then did another and it had the same issue as all along. just stops part way through a load and also the grinding noise. he thinks it may be that the actuator is just not the right kind and will try again with a different part once he can verify it, but also says he'll get control board just in case...

they've pretty much replaced everything else.

he did put the metal brackets back on...
