jessejames, I have read their books and own several of them. I love their philosophy also. I agree with you about the animal husbandry. They have been a significant part of my journey to self suffiency.
I think their books are especially good for people in the cold country like New England to read, since Helen and Scott proved that it could be done within the last 50 or so years. It was a sad day when Helen died not all that long ago.
