I want some good boots. Not just good boots...perfect boots. Leather, wide calf, stylish yet functional. Something I can wear to work and still be comfortable wearing if I have to run from the Xerox guy after he gets turned in to a zombie by the soyjoy bars he munches on while fixing the fuser.

A few things to make it more difficult...
NO cowboy boots (fugly and hurt my feet)
NO heel more than about an inch (I am tall enough already thank you!)
NO suede...I want them easy to clean if I get zombie brains splashed on them
WIDE CALF (as mentioned above...I have meaty legs)

Any brands I should look at? Am I dreaming? Does such a boot even exist?

When you find them let me know. I need a pair that will hold up in the desert but still be flexible enough to drive off road in. I need to be able to put my foot in it when necessary. :D

But yet they should look good with jeans while I am cleaning the coops!!

i bought some of these Bogs boots. they are PERFECT... for winter. it gets toasty inside that neoprene. but you seriously can't beat them for keeping your feet dry. and they are comfy (mine are still a bit snug, but they are loosening up pretty easily).

for everyday boots, i'm just as lost. i'm liking the looks of those Frye's Sally... thanks for making me want $350 boots! :/

and why don't the stupid Ariat Stanbrokes come in womens?
