Farmfresh. That was a cool program. I want to see the rest of their shows now. I think it showed the essentials of making felt. You could probably use a wire dog brush to pull the fibers.

I just go to http://www.factualtv.com/ and search "River Cottage". In England the shows get a new title every year they are on. This series starts with Escape to River Cottage then: Return to River Cottage, River Cottage Forever and Beyond River Cottage. There is even an urban project on YouTube.

What a great gift. My daughter has it, so I borrow it from her now and then. She grew up on the show  no sesame street for her ;)

Made my first raspberry jam today. I made jams last year, but I don't reallly like the seedy fruits, so raspberry wasn't one of them. Then, I missed strawberry season (way too busy, and the weather wasn't great for strawberries anyway) and SO told me that raspberry would be a great substitute for our year's worth of jams.

It is really, really seedy, but licking the pot was delicious!:drool Next on the list is blueberry.

Tomorrow after work is yogurt day so I have something to eat for breakfast at work.

I usually make raspberry jelly - due to the seeds.

After I strain the juice off for the jelly measure it. Then I add that much water to the seedy pulp and boil again for a while. I use the pulp/ water combo for raspberry ice cream or raspberry sorbet. :drool

When you use it as an ingredient in the ice cream the seeds are much less noticeable! :D

I hope to
1. Start raising my own heritage turkey so far I think I only have males.\
2. Get all my canning done before my veggies become seed saving!
3. Learn enough to get bees for next year.
4. Get my fruit trees to more than one year old this time.
5. Improve my cheese making.

So much I have started, I need to finish.
