I have a bushel of seed potatoes planted and they are coming up great.

Thinned and worked over my onion bed and garlic beds which I grow as perpetual crops.
They are doing great with all of this rain.

Freeze got my apricots again, but peaches seem to be OK.

Have about 85 tomato plants in - most are heirlooms - and only about a dozen left to plant.

Hubby has his pepper pots and salsa garden started.

This year's rosemary has been potted up and my herb pots are seeded currently with spinach, radishes and lettuce.

I have added kale and brussels sprouts to my front flower boarder and am planting blood beets there as well.

16 broccoli plants, 8 cauliflower, 12 brussels sprouts, and 18 cabbage plants in garden.

Two dozen sweet potato slips are rooting in my kitchen window.

Lima beans = 1/ 50 foot row Peas = 2/50 foot rows Carrots interplanted with tomatoes and beets interplanted with peas.

Two new 50 foot rows of black raspberries planted & 2 old rows of blackberries reworked.

Hope to make a little jam today from the last of last years frozen berries to make freezer space for this years harvest.

Planning on picking up about 10 turkey poults on Saturday plus some chicks to raise for resale.

Don't worry about it, jfarms, as I don't think anyone is going to catch up to SKR8PN! We can only aspire to...... ;)

We all have our own ways of doing it and will likely end up with similar, but also very different, items squirreled.

Welcome to the game! :)

jfarms don't worry about keeping up - I have been doing this for about 25 years.

It is actually better to start small and kind of slow. Learn each task well before going on to the next thing. Plant what you can and grow what you best like to eat.

Each year there are successes and failures. Last year I harvested a bumper crop of fruit ... and all of my turkeys were killed by predators! This year I have already lost about half of my fruit harvest .... and so on.

Even buying staples on sale and stocking up is part of our little game. Do what you can and have fun!

I really consider it to be a contest with myself, and I enjoy seeing what others are doing to get ideas and inspiration and hints and instructions. Everyone who joins wins!

I know what your going through, jfarms, I live in SE Kansas, and it has rained every day this week. We have some garden up, and we planted sweet corn one week ago. :fl It's even too wet to go foraging for herbs! :hit

jfarms, I don't even have a tiller with which to plow my garden yet!!! Not a thing planted except some lettuce, spinach and onions in my cold frame and some seedlings under lights.

You are not behind...if you are, I'm right there with you! :)
