we are doing ok just trying to get this Navy gig over with so i can be out in the hills again. DW is holding down the fort at home while i'm floating for freedom.

well the sucky part is having four months off and doing it again! LOL back at it out to sea and have been since Jan. so ready to retire. a double pump deployment schedule is rough with out the pandemic stuff affecting everything. DW is prepping the house doing what she can to sell it. then we are planning on moving into an RV to finish out my Navy time. that way we can save a bit more prior to retirement! so when its time to "pull chocks" we really can. we have been looking for a place back in TN but due to the pandemic flight from cities ppl have cause land prices to soar in the area we where looking into. some places are being sold at 400% markup over last year. its nuts. we started finding decent places at reasonable prices in areas without high speed internet or fuel stations for miles.

Hey everyone! So quick update. In Nov of 21 we sold off the house in norfolk va. Moved into an rv and have been full timing since. We used the profit from the house sell to buy 40 acres in TN near my family in April of this year. Im on terminal leave with a retirement date of 30 sept. We head south next week. We will be living off the property until i can get my power, septic and well put in. Then is going to be setting up the property one system at a time. And we got a dog Teddy the maligator.
