Wow, busy morning! 5 Ducklings hatched. I had to help the last one now as the membrane dried over its head and it got a bit stuck as it was trying wiggle out. I woke DS up with a duckling and

The last duckling didn't make it
It was the one I suspect may have been a double. I don't have the heart to open the egg to check.
The Andalusians.. 3 didn't make it. I went in this morning and opened all but one at the air cell, found beaks and freed them where needed, so they can breathe. The exception managed to pip through the shell, at the wrong end of the egg. They are all (8) doing o.k. I'm letting them absorb their yolks now and keeping an eye on them. I'll wait until this evening and see who needs further assisting.
