I just got a message from Beekissed and she IS writing a book. Well, she will be starting this winter. She said we will be the first to preview the first chapter! :)

I think it's still a great idea if more folks get into the project. It's a great idea and more ideas makes for a better book!

The first book was going to be about my early life living off-grid and all the things I've learned then, and since then, about how to live life on a dime, how to repurpose things, how to made do in hard times.

My second book was going to be a modern Foxfire...I wanted to travel to your homes and get your projects and lifestyles in the book. I wanted to showcase how modern day "hillbilly women" are making do in today's economy~goats, milking, cheesemaking, soapmaking, gardening, canning, homesteading small lots and acreage.

Up on the top, on the blue tool bar, at the very end is "SS Blog" There are some articles there, but IDK how recently it has been updated. Last time I checked, it was still talking about maple syrup making from last year.

That would be a great place to start! Just start blogging our projects, with pics included, and see how many people are attracted to the website from our blogs.

I don't know what the criteria are for the blog but I know it hadn't been used for a long time.

One could start with something simple like how to prepare your chicken flock for winter or some such thing. Seems to be a hot subject on BYC right now.

You make sure they all have good boots, and knit them little hats and coats, right?
