Ms. Pirtykitty yes you will need to seal the Mylar Bag. Some folks use an electric curling iron to seal the bags, other folks use a piece of wood and then use a regular iron, set on low to seal the bag.Pirtykitty said:I have a 5 gallon food grade bucket I cleaned out yesterday and left out side to dry.. it originally had pickles in it from a BQ place.. I purchased big maylar bags for buckets last month and oxyegen obsorbers.
I want to transfer my sugar that I have in the cabinet into it.. Do I need to seal the maylar since it is going in 5 gallon bucket and how do I do it.. I think I have at least 40 lbs.
I will put a gamma seal lid on the bucket
