What did you name him??
I had a possum that I named Charlie, you know, after Charlie from LOST. He drowned (Both Charlie the possum and Charlie on lost).

I'm not a squeamish person, I don't jump on chairs for mice, I like playing with friendly snakes, but can I just say I HATE possums!! :barnie

The hissing! The hissing freaks me out. Gah! I opened the door last night to see what was eating Drop Shadow's food this time and there was a nasty possum on the steps. I yelled for DH and he hissed at me. :barnie The possum, not DH

see? there is ALWAYS a reason for more firearms!
That's what I'm talking about :D

Hopefully, in the near future there will be alot more hunting and practiceing going on. I would like to be moved out of MIL's house by the beginning of next year. I have found one house that's going for 185,900. It's already got a house, a barn, 10 acers, and is bout 30-45 minutes from work. The only problem I am faceing is that I only make 1000 a month. That would cover possibly the house payment and mabey a bill. DF's income is so unreliable (usually between 200 and 500 a month). Should we even think about moving out, or wait for Zach to get a (reliable) part-time job?
oooooh, dilemma!
see, if this was me the financial/practical worry side would say stay where you are at, the right place will open at the right time, and meanwhile if you can put away DF's earnings into savings so you have that for when the right place opens up, plus waiting for that more reliable job

the practical/realist/independent side would say for the sake of my relationship with my inlaws, we need to do what we can to get out asap!! (this is also the experienced side, we eventually had to move out of my GIL's place, even though it meant shouldering alot more financially)

so, i guess the question is, how good is the relationship with the way things are? and are you willing to accept financial hardship for the land?

The first step is to talk to a bank and see if they would even qualify you to carry a mortgage that large.

It usually costs nothing to pre-qualify for a mortgage loan and there are usually no strings attached. ;)
