Okay, i just did a quick google search...It's actually called Vates Blue Curl Kale...Burpee,Jung Seed and a whole bunh more sell it.Its availabe organic or not...Do a google search, there are many seller of the seed..I'm sure it a fairly common Kale, but this is amazing stuff...! Hope this helps....

You should have good luck growing it OrganicKale,i'm not that far from you(Eastern Long Island).I grow mine organic as well, never had a problem with any pest, even the deer haven't bothered it.They like to go straight to my raspberry patch and eat te leaves..! Bigbrownhorse, it sure is the gift that keeps on giving,its so prolific and bountyful...! I just transplanted some seeding to a shadier spot to try and extend the season bit.The bigger ones that survived the winter are starting to bolt.Before they flower, they are like little broccolis, they are tasty as well. If i cut them back, i can get more growing time/harvest, but i let them go to seed, for the next free crop..! I love kale too...! By far this is my favorite..
