Always doing laundry
I am trying to sell my baby. We have put a lot of work into this car and I hate to get rid of it but we just can't drive it like it needs to be driven with our kids and all.
We paid $1000 for it and we have put about $2000 more into it. New headliner, new carpet, new chrome pieces, new tires, new upolstery, new window seals, new gaskets in the engine. We had it painted as well...it is currently blue. My husband was driving it back and forth to work and hit a deer. We got a new fender from another 72 beetle and had the dings worked out of the hood. Otherwise it was fine. We had decided to sell it so we have not repainted it so that the next owner can choose the color. It runs fine but could probably use an oil change and carbuerator adjustment to be on the safe side. I started it 3 days ago and it runs fine.
