Well I saw a Dog101 show on Animal Planet....featuring, ta da, the Papillion. Yup, great dog as I researched and good to hear I made a great choice. Low health problems, easy grooming cause no undercoat, low exercise requirements, etc.....but one thing was possible snippy with kids. Luckily this one isn't and handles kids great even though he gets that '5 mins. of insane hyper small dog syndrome' when anyone new comes around. OMG they can 'jump' straight up so high LOL--like a rubber bouncing ball.

Good Monday---making tons of soaps for inventory. Since I am going to the beach over Easter, I have to have Dad loaded with soaps for Easter sales. So far so good on inventory. He did very well at the market...$200. Not bad for soap sales on 2nd week of market...so I am very happy.

Now that the market is open seems so weird the produce and hogs, eggs, etc are all gone. While I love every minute of tons of less work, I miss the income. Yikes, didn't truly realize that losing so much income was ICK, but I am adjusting. Less work and more fun life is way more important than a dollar right now.

So gotta get the house dusted and cleaned up for birthday party friday.

Invited 9, only 3 called and confirmed. I told Nicole to tell the girls to tell their parents to call if they are coming. Geez ya know. I need to know how much food etc to plan. Come on parents.....LOL

Nothing much more doing.....easy day but alot on the schedule.

everyone have a great Monday! :)

:barnie RAIN :barnie

come on, we didn't even dry out from the last darn near flood. Honestly, I never saw such a wet spring for us?? Hmmm....

Nothing much today. Make soap of course, as usual.

Gotta hit the post office and mail out some packages.

Gonna sit down and make up the princess treat goodie bags for the party...just to be ahead of things.

Tony has to fix the barn tin. Have 3 sheets flapping in the wind...and want that fixed now so they don't come flying off.

Have to walk around and dust the whole house.

Wed. pool guy is coming around lunchtime. Want to check the area for the grade to put in the pool.

Other than that I am taking life easy today. Not much to do, rainy and cruddy and while I got up this morning a bit ago, I am ready to take a nap LOL

everyone enjoy the day! :)

Housework to the max today

every darn thing dusted and great! Good thing I own little now due to de-clutter etc. But having less crap, means I see dust more. HUH? LOL --yup, when you clutter it all looks ok, when you have NO clutter the few specks of dust stand out LOL who knew :p--but give me sparse and decluttered anyday! ;)

I love love love love (did I say LOVE) my Shark steam cleaner.
the floors are wonderful and the smell is just great. Steam smell. I don't know what 'steam smell' is in general, but I love the smell..HAHA

Tony home...from store...he spent money. $30 on batteries for his Coon Hunting light. Yup he is getting ready for coon hunting and he is heading out tomorrow for turkey hunting with his buddy on leased land for hunting.

BUT I told him barn is first...get his butt down there and fix that tin. Horrible sound that flapping tin LOL and since not done yet, even more on my nerves ;)

off I go to do some more soaps...big retail store order came in darn it, before I leave for vacation...means I have to triple make soaps for curing to have on inventory when I get back for sales. OMG too much some days! :)

The good news about your little pup is that he probably will never develop that snippy attitude towards kids since his best friend is a kiddo :thumbsup
I am a firm believer that while dogs may have certain tendencies, it is really all about how they are raised.

Good for you on the soap....maybe this order is not the best timing but I know you have a nice little biz going there. Do you have a web site?

I started one way back but the farm took too much time physically and it never got started...NOW I have the time and have no desire to increase soap sales now LOL It is just me, one person, and I am so slap full now with the soap biz I can't handle anymore.

yea doggie is used to being 'man handled' by a kid ;)
good thing they get along well

hey el

I love this shark.
I turned it over and it says Model S3501A

I got it at Walmart or Target on sale. On a whim.

One thing I thought I would not like is you pump the handle to get steam.....some steam all the time-----well it is better for me with the pump cause you can control the steam then. The amt. of water it can put out on a floor could be too much....so with the pump I just get the steam fired up and mop. Then move a little and pump again to fire up more steam. I am glad I can control the wet on the floor.

No loss of pressure or anything from this one and I had it like 3 years now? give or take.

It just gives the floor a great shine, it is heating and killing germs, just wash the cleaning pad, super simple and boom you are done.

And the smell is "I don't know" how to describe it LOL It just seems fresh and clean to me??? LOL

I am not a gadget person usually. I buy things, they work cruddy or too hard to work vs. the benefit, etc. Gadgets stink but for some reason I like the Shark :p

hope that helps ya
