What the saying "Cleanliness is next to Godliness?" Just think of it as your way of healing our world. :D

Didn't you know that walking is sand is the hardest thing ever possible on your knees?

I always had issues as a kid with my knees and the sand. Ouch!!

Have a great day!!

g

I must be! :)

but the essential oils when I make alot of different fragrances in one day give me a big headache and my hands are raw from constantly being in water when pouring molds etc. And I have burned my toes many times...dripping hot soap on my tootsies is just darn OW!

you know what--it stinks actually

pic of our backhoe and the great work it did removing all those trees

removed the back fence and opened the yard up to my red horse barn.

I love the big new space! :)

spent big money this morning

Tony has been wanting a new lawnmower....so he bought a 21 HP Craftsman. Real nice, on sale a bit so under $1500 so I was happy with that.

Also I bought my 24 round pool today, just under 4K

so yea money went out the door this morning but this was all planned and paid in cash so I am smiling---well kinda, still hurts to part wtih big money even though you saved up to spend it HA HA

So of course being in sticker shock I said NO MORE spending for a while LOL we shall see if that holds up LOL

hot here today...nice weather coming finally.

running a few loads of laundry, Tony out mowing, Nicole out playing and me making some soap batches as usual.

other than that, all is great! I sure love my life, I ain't kidding anyone...I have it good LOL

everyone have a fun day! :)

You should be able to recoup the money spent. Just stay home floating in the new pool all summer. The money you save not buying gas should cover it. :D

LOL Gina that is so true.
the pool will make me probably take at least one less trip this season.
cause all the kids on the road are old enough now to walk to each others homes, and Nicole has been playing with the gal up the street, and the gal down the street.....so I think I will be having 3 gals in the pool every summer now LOL

Oh it is such fun to have your kid and her friends hanging out. I made a point of being the mom who did fun stuff with DD and her friends. One of the other good things that came out of me always being around and having the kids, was that I became kind of "invisible". So I got to overhear a lot of their conversations. This was especially beneficial to keeping my DD and her friends safe, once they became teenagers. They still kept forgetting that I was in the car (driving them) ;) DD often wondered how I "knew" all this stuff hehehe. I just told her : "I am the mommy, that's why" Then when she became an adult, I told her.

Enjoy the kids, while you can. They grow up so fast. Be the cool pool mom, who does interesting things and has weird (but healthy) foods and all that good stuff. Oh yeah and get silly with them.

off to Mom and Dads this morning

Tony wants to fish off the dock....Dad said they are hauling in some huge hybrid strippers and they are fun to fish!

Nicole will probably walk around the water's edge...Dad put in a few tons of sand along the shore as a beach so she will play.

I have tons of soaps to bring to Dad. He is starting the Thurs market now.

Tony finished up grading the backyard etc.where new pool is going...he did a fabulous job. He cut down some big limbs off a tree for me so it makes the spot sunnier. and leveled off toward the side, and we will build a side deck onto the pool probably next year.

honestly ya'll gotta buy backhoes, lol, it makes the work so darn easy! :)

So off we go to enjoy the lake and have some fun for the day.
