I love cutting up with them. You'd probably have had to have been there to catch the humor, because t was just so ridiculous...at one point she was worried about someone pulling in behind me, and I said we're CLEAR! GO! GO! GO! and the other lady in there had cracked up too. Then the bank manager came out and he wanted some and was cracking grape peddling jokes...it was just goofy.
We're crazy. I tease them about giving everyone suckers and never getting things for themselves so I throw grapes and potatoes at them
Maybe some rest is in order today, for just a little bit. I do have to get laundry going too, and am going to start a pot of beans for dinner. I need to get the animals finished up, and set eggs today as well. SO MANY little things need doing!!! I may concentrate on those and worry with planting later in the week, though it looks as if Saturday may be the soonest I can. DD has to work this weekend, so I won't have her help, but maybe R will feel better by then. We're still mid coop build as well. There's just so much crap to do around here. I need to hire about 5 young handy energetic guys for a couple days to knock some stuff out for us old folk
Maybe then, we'd get it to where it's "manageable" at least!
Riiiiiight, sorry kid, you got the flu, and we have a brand new baby at church who just fought off jaundice, and several old folks who just got out of the hospital. You're staying home!! She got mad at me and wouldn't talk
Where'd I get so many kids anyway?!?!?!
I wasn't really all that impressed with those, no minis, just standard everyday cattle. Nothing really exciting. We had a good time chit chatting though, and the old men were flirty, which I always find funny for some reason
It was a good day regardless.Ya think?FarmerJamie said:that's what they do.......
